Lithium rechargeable batteries offer high performance and reliability at a small size and weight. At less than 10% per month, their discharge rate is significantly lower than NiCd and NimH batteries. Li-ion batteries are also heat resistant (effective between -20 to +80 degrees celcius) and have no memory effect.
